Anyway, a little while later I got a call from my housemate upstairs after his call arrived. His answering machine reads off the numbers of the caller so you can judge the call a bit.
But his machine went:
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh
because the caller ID number was 000-000-0000. We were roaring. Best politcal phone call of the season. And the answering machine seemed to really like it!
Please share widely!

you’re not going to tell us which candidate is widely endorsed by answering machines?!

I’m much too discreet to reveal that. I’ve gotten in trouble here before for not having ‘dinner pary’ behavior đŸ˜‰

the more i think about it, the more i don’t care. it isn’t the candidate’s fault if they can’t find good telemarketing businesses to work with in MA. the sad thing is that they evidently also couldn’t find good telemarketing services to work with out of state!

Hmmm . . . a local Somerville candidate funding out-of-state calling with a not-so-obvious to pronounce last name. My best guess is Tony Lafuente . . . am I right?

I have heard bad things done to that name. But yeah, local call support seems more likely there, I suppose đŸ˜‰
