… when the officials account for most of your offensive yards.

the biggest trick to hobble a team. My brother and I were speculating what would be the biggest vulnerability for the Patriots today and decided that it could be bogus pass inerference calls.
Right result, but I’m not suited for that kind of game. If I had hair, I’d pull it out.

I’m convinced we were holding back, at least on defense. There are two ways to stop the Colts: 1. Pressure Manning; 2. Drive his receivers into the ground. Most of the Pats’ success in the past has come when we’ve gotten to Manning. Today, they tried to cover the receivers with mixed success. It opened up lanes underneath for Addai (on my fantasy team, thank you very much), and it hurt the Pats.

On top of that…WHAT was with the officiating??? Just terrible.

In the words of Coach: Good win. It is what it is. They have a good team. On to Buffalo. I’ll actually be at that game in Buffalo. Maybe I’ll blog it.
The difference in this game was that the Colts started nearly every series behind the 20. Great kick returns, and excellent work blocking Adam Vin’s field goal attempt.

The refs were not prepared for a game that big, and that fast. They were clearly in over their head. Bring back that guy who wears the muscle shirts — he knows what he’s doing.

Also seeing ads for the movie version of The Golden Compass — my all-time favorite book. Doesn’t look horrible yet (though the bears’ armor is too shiny).

a trey at the overtime buzzer by Ray Allen, who had 33, too bad no one could see it as the feed went out a few seconds beforehand. nice job guys ….
Brady is the better quarterback. Period. Peyton can’t hit nuthin’, and Brady lay down some spectacular passes, and Donte and Randy both made great catches. Welker did wonderful runs back. If the officials weren’t BLIND, the score would have been a 10 point difference. Why did they NEVER call a late hit on the Colts for the times they brought Brady down afer he passed?

With 10 minutes left if the fourth quarter, mu Beloved began to pace – The game is OVER. We lost it RIGHT THEN. Our recovery was fantastic.

And that last sack – with Peyton on his knees pummelling the ground with his fist – just made my week, and it’s only Sunday.
However, that could be an artifact of the broadcast. They mike the crowd and that noise is added to the braodcast at the production van, so the glitch could have been with CBS, and the noise dropoff that was evident may just be that the crowd mikes were shut down.

On the other hand, Indy’s crowd noise CD is getting old and is so heavily used that it might be scratched.

That said, if CBS doesn’t admit that it was their fault, this seems just as bad as the signal stealing, and I will await Gregg Eaterbrook’s hjysterical vilification of the Colts.
Colts making it look fairly easy, their first time down the field. What’s that about?
As you were.
… a miscue or did he beat him?
That was not a pass interference…

the last time I saw a “leg-whip.” Can you?
… that was Brady’s bad. The ball had too much hang-time to give a reasonable cover defender.
You have GOT to be kidding me.
Rodney Harrison! Awesome interception, right back at ’em.
The Colts were forced to punt–a sure sign that the Pats were going to get hit with a penalty on the next series. This is too obvious
… isn’t human. What a catch
What time is the Simpsons?
Imaginary offensive pass interference against Moss.

Are these NBA zebras?
should have been a defensive pass interference against the Colts.

Time for a huge dose of Patriots defense.
And the Defense gets it done.
