I liked interviewing Matthews. He was very blunt and straight forward and held nothing back.
If he likes being prejudiced against women, fine, it’s a free country. But there’s a serious problem with Matthews in that he does realize that it violates fundamental courtesy and decency to condescend and belittle women.
There’s a strange conflict in his logic there. He talks about how he doubts Goldwater would have put the U.S. into the Vietnam War as LBJ did, then says Hillary Clinton voted to go into Iraq. Matthews warns that liberal Democrats can lead you into wars.

He does not consider that Barry Goldwater voted to go into the Vietnam War. Which is not surprising given Goldwater was a big warhawk all along.

It is, of course, interesting that Matthews does not mention how he personally insulted Al Gore on the air through 1999 and 2000, and Al Gore would not have gotten us into the Iraq War.
Hey, in the last minutes of Part 1, Chris Matthews said he was Phillies’ fan in the National League, and he favored the Red Sox over the Yankees in the American League.

But Chris Matthews has claimed being a fan for an NL team and an AL team is evidence of Hillary Clinton’s flawed personality.

Something’s really wrong with Matthews. He just doesn’t care whether what he broadcasts makes any sense. But what he broadcasts mostly seems to drag down Democrats.
