I have been posting about the 23rd Middlesex special election – which is Arlington and three precincts in West Medford.
In Arlington, I have a candidate I am supporting, in the interests of disclosure, Sean Garballey.
The field in Arlington looks like it will have at least three democrats – one independent – and a strong Republican candidate, and maybe more. I guess that will become clear next week.
As to the 7th Bristol race, I don’t know that district at all but would follow it with interest if reported on here.

Garballey and Thielman being the other two.

School committee member Susan Lovelace, who would have been a very serious contender had she gotten in earlier. She took out papers at the last minute, and was scrambling to gather the required signatures. I don’t think you can get in this race at the last minute and have a prayer of winning.

p>There are also a couple of people running who are relatively unknown.

Boy there must be interesting dynamics on that board>

understatement of the year.

The heading says 7th Bristol. The tags say 7th Bristol. The content says 23rd Middlesex. Arlington is, indeed, the center of the political universe.

After all, each representative will have ONLY one vote. Arlington has its own thread…I did provide a link to one story on the Bristol race, but was hoping for some local reporting from someone in Fall River or at least, Bristol County.
