Those of you who have lived in these parts for a while will no doubt recall Paul Szep, the Pulitzer Prize-winning political cartoonist whose work appeared in the Globe for many years.
Fortunately, Szep’s departure from the Globe in 2001 did not signal his retirement from political cartooning — far from it! And so, by special arrangement, BMG is pleased to inaugurate a new feature: the Daily Szep. They’ll all be tagged “szep” so that you can pull them up easily.
Herewith, installment 1. Enjoy!
Please share widely!
I loved Szep growing up. Kudos to whoever pulled this together.
How about a title for old David, the political Svengali of Massachusetts.
I like to look at funny pictures.
Or something like that.
It’s “AMY”….and I can’t find her in this one unless she is lost in the tree truncks…the colorizing makes name finding a little harder.

p>Love SZEP…he was the best the Globe had to offer editorially.
