Mitt Romney has taken to saying he can fix the economy with “real conservative change.”
I wasn’t an English major, but seems to me that the phrase “conservative change” is an oxymoron.
Webster defines conservative as: “tending or disposed to maintain existing views, conditions, or institutions”
Wouldn’t that mean that Romney wants to maintain current conditions but make them radically different? Or is he using the other definition of “change” and saying he wants to maintain current conditions and give us all pennies on the dollar?
