This is truly glorious. Today:
“There’s no way that Senator McCain is going to be able to come to New Hampshire and say that he’s the candidate that represents change – that he’ll change Washington. He is Washington,” Mr. Romney said while speaking to reporters on Friday.
But in 2002, Romney said:
One of the reasons the people of America honor Senator McCain and why I’m so proud to have him standing with me today is that he has brought American values to the debate on the issues we care about.
He has always stood for reform and change. And he’s always fought the good battle, no matter what the odds.
That’s right — Romney was for McCain before he was against him. You just know that the McCain campaign (which has been circulating this to the press all day) was biding its time until Romney, ever the foolish mouse, just couldn’t resist that particular hunk of cheese. And then, whammo! Gosh darn those blasted internets! Via TPM-EC.

What’s the point of bloviating on such an excellent theme if you don’t use the blimp?!

p>No doubt, if it meant getting a vote (or getting in front of the camera) Make-Up Mitt would say he’s in favor or dirigibles …

p>Was Mitt’s father on that Hindenburg flight?
