There is a groundswell occuring in Massachusetts, that many have become disappointed in the leadership, or should I say lack of leadership by Senator John Kerry. Many of us are upset that JK stopped being the anti-war war hero that wanted to bring great change for not only the State of Massachusetts but for the United States of America. He became, without a fight, Senator Slacker. He joined the ranks of the Bush dogs and capitulators. He investigated the Administration on selling nuclear secrets that was brought about by Sibel Edmonds but stopped, presumedly to prove that he could play ball with corporations. As I wrote in a previous post, Senator Kerry has long ago proved that he is very corporatist friendly to the extent that he even stopped his investigation on the charges brought by Sibel Edmonds against members of the Bush I and II administration.
Also, Ed O’Reilly has benn endorsed by many groups within the Democratic Community. One such group is the Progressive Democrats of America. The same group that is also endorsing Progressive Democrats like John Laesch and Donna Edwards (fan favorites of the DKOS community. If Ed O’Reilly can capture 15% of the delegates at the State Convention, he will be on the primary ballot. It is time for these elected officials to understand that they are not entitled to their positions. it is time for us to remind them who the work for.
It will be an uphill battle for Ed to run for Senate. Kerry has the backing of the Corporatists and the Lobbyist Pac-Money. he also has a large chunk of money left over from his previous runs for prez and Senate races. Any donation to Ed O’Reilly for Senate will be deeply appreciated through ActBlue.

Also, call his campaign office and ask when he is going to speak in your area.

I asked Mr. O’Reilly at a recent forum “If I have $100 or x hours to give, why should I give them to you, against another Democrat, instead of up in NH or Maine or somewhere we can actually flip a Republican seat?” He actually said “I don’t have an answer for that.”
<
p>I will vote for him at the convention to get him on the ballot and I’ll probably vote for him in September, but until he has an answer as to why we should vote FOR him instead of AGAINST John Kerry, then it’s difficult to consider him a serious candidate.

looking for change. Sometimes that is the answer.
I just got fed up with JK’s lax approach to his job. EO seems like he is more of a fighter on the level as Feingold D-WI or Whitehouse- D RI.
