The Children’s Defense Fund Action Council released its 2007 Nonpartisan Congressional Scorecard. The Senator that rated the worst was John McCain, who scored 10%.
The ratings were based on the following votes:
Increase minimum wage
Increase funding for children with disabilities
Protect children from unsafe medications
2008 Budget resolution
SCHIP Reauthorization
College Cost Reduction and Access Act
SCHIP
DREAM Act
Funding child health and education
Improving Head Start programs
The Children’s Defense Fund reports that average scores for members of Congress have steadily improved in each of the past three years, this trend is not true for John McCain, he’s actually getting worse with each passing year.
TP reported that McCain’s ratings have declined each of the past few years.
McCain’s CDF score has steadily declined over the years. In 2004, he received a 38 percent; in 2005, 22 percent; in 2006, 10 percent.
How does the straight talk express explain turning it’s back to children and the public’s well-being.

Rumors that John McCain likes to poke out the eyes of cute puppies with a hot knife are being spread by those who wish to paint McCain as discriminatory.
<
p>The fact is that he enjoys poking the eyes out of ALL puppies, cute or otherwise. On behalf of the campaign I must now ask that you cease spreading this vile and hateful rumor.
