The good news is that the seat soon to be vacated by Robert Antonioni will most likely remain in the D column (big surprise…)
The better news is that both Jennifer Flanagan (declared, and reportedly with Antonioni’s endorsement) and Leominster Mayor Dean Mazzarella (musing) may be in the race. A whole host of formers, councilors and school committee pols are piling on. It looks like it’s gonna be somekind of campaigning summer!
So, in addition to one of the above mentioned luminaries filling Antonioni’s shoes, Leominster could have either a new State Rep or a new Mayor… And, most likely, a new face, or faces, at the lower levels.
