Dear BMG members:
I’m volunteering to help elect Democrat, Sara Orozco, to the State Senate to replace Scott Brown. We are organizing volunteers for signature gathering over the next few weeks and need your help!!!
Though we technically only need 300 certified signatures to qualify for the ballot, our goal is to collect a respectable number from each of the district’s 12 communities. We had some great folks turn out last Sunday to help in Wellesley and Needham and it’s time to spread out!
If you might be able to volunteer a few hours to join us for the not-so-glamorous-but-necessary job of collecting signatures, please visit Sara’s campaign website and fill out the VOLUNTEER form. Once we get your form, we’ll be in touch with details.
The Norfolk, Bristol, Middlesex district encompasses Attleboro (wards 1 and 2, ward 3, precinct A), Franklin (precincts 2 to 4, inclusive), Millis, Natick (precincts 6, 7, 9 and 10), Needham, Norfolk, North Attleborough, Plainville, Sherborn, Wayland, Wellesley (precincts B, F and G), and Wrentham.
Thanks in advance for your consideration!
Team Orozco

I volunteered last weekend and it was more fun than I thought it would be. People are just starting to hear about Sara Orosco so they are interested in stopping to talk.

Hey, folks. This is THE chance to knock off the Senate’s most socially conservative member, one of only 3 senators to stand up the other week against the repeal of the 1913 miscegenation law. Scott Brown was Romney’s mini-me in the Senate, and judging from the way he’s handing out donations to Republicans in municipal contests, he’s getting ready to go statewide.

p>Lots of Democrats will be turning up at the polls this November. Let’s give them good something to do down-ballot in the Norfolk, Middlesex and Bristol Senate district. And if that ain’t motivation enough, Sara is good people. You’ll want say that you were a part of this.
