I am asking all of the bluemassgroup family to do the same. I think Bill Maher said it best, ” George Bush is someone you can have a beer with, Barack Obama is someone you can have an intelligent conversation with”. We need a new set of leaders. I am supporting Barack Obama because I feel he has the intelligence to actually make competent decisions and bring in appointees that will not just bow to the kings will. I am supporting Ed O’Reilly for Senate against John Kerry because Ed is a true progressive and is not accepting money from PAC’s the way JK does. As a resident of Massachusets, I can tell you that JK is not the Anti-war war firebrand that he was over 30 years ago. His time has past and he is now just another corporate democrat. I support Howard Dean just because the DLC hates him. Since the DLC is wrong on just about everything, it’s good enough for me.
I am asking all of you to donate. Hopefully, you’ll donate to the three I mentioned. But at least donate a portion of your check to true progressives.
Thank you for reading this post.

…that government has no money, save that which it takes from its citizens, and the more money placed in the hands of citizens allows them to make thier own best decision about that money.
<
p>We even support your right to make bad decisions with that money – so, hey – Obama ’08! :~)

…that the government has no money except for that which it takes from its citizens, what do you call the massive borrowing done to fund off-budget projects like the occupation of Iraq? This money will have to be paid back, with interest, and the only way to do that is to tax the citizenry, no?
<
p>You can decry Democrats as “tax and spend” liberals all you want, but at least we have the good sense to raise revenue through taxation prior to spending it. The days when the Republican party can claim to be the party of fiscal discipline are long gone…

Youse guys can blow your refunds on Obama!

…but I do need to correct you. Our taxes aren’t paying for the mess in Iraq, yet – but our children and their children will be.
<
p>That’s nice that you support the war, why don’t you go enlist and fight in it? And encourage your family and friends to do the same?
