Republican State Senator Scott Brown is “making news” from being the first candidate this year to turn in his nomination papers. http://www.milforddailynews.co…
Now it’s OUR turn to make headlines by gathering even MORE signatures for his Democratic opponent, Sara Orozco (D-Needham).
We need your help! Please join us this Saturday, April 12, 2008 for a district-wide signature collection event. If you can volunteer, we’d love to have you and we will make it as painless as possible!
Please send a note to: Orozco2008@gmail.com if you are willing and able to give some of your free time to help get Sara’s name on the ballot….
Sara has been busy meeting voters across the district and word of her candidacy is spreading enthusiastically. Check out the most recent press coverage from her alma mater, Georgia State University: http://media.www.gsusignal.com…
Please help us out on Saturday – even an hour or two of your time will make a difference!
*If that date doesn’t work, but you’re willing to collect signatures for Sara before April 29th, send a note to Orozco2008@gmail.com and let us know what dates times might work better for you and we’ll make it happen!
Thanks!!!!
Team Orozco
I saw him recently on Emily Rooney with martha Coakley regarding jessica’s Law. He sounded like he does every other time I’ve seen him interviewed and heard him on the radio. Only thing that comes to mind in describing this former male model is “Nice house, nobody home”
<
p>First time I have ever said that about a dude.
<
p>Then I see in yesterday’s Herald that he will shave his head like a high school hockey player if Jessica Law’s passes.
<
p>Scott, we are talking about child rapists here. You want to make light of it and do what? Is this a motivational thing like the high school hockey players. You ain’t no sports reporter Scott. You are a state senator. Jessica’s law is a very serious matter. Grow up Scotty. I mean Senator.
I’m guessing Ernie’s on board the Orozco express! Now she can’t lose. 😉
You don’t know me? The goddamn bunch of you don’t know……(drift off)
<
p>Gimme anuttah whiskey.
With my eighth grade students, I use an article featuring Brown to raise issues of context and appropriate word choice (as well as the appropriate demeanor for an elected official). In case the link doesn’t work, the article describes Brown’s use of the “F word” at a school assembly in his district where he was reading blog entries out loud to students.
<
p>Great role model. He sounds like a real winner.
Fuck him!
