“Unlike Senator Obama, I have no ethical standards. Even my critics would agree that once I get the nomination, I will stop at nothing–absolutely nothing–to win. Whereas, with Senator Obama, there are some things he simply will not do. Take, for example, the race card, which he has been reluctant to play. As in, ‘anyone who doesn’t vote for me, is a racist.’ I, on the other hand, will be happy to play the gender card and claim that anyone who doesn’t vote for me is a sexist. In fact, once Senator Obama is out of the picture, I look forward to playing the race card myself. As in, ‘anyone who doesn’t vote for me is both a sexist and a racist.’
Now for those of you who say, ‘she’ll never do that, it doesn’t even make sense!’ I answer, ‘if you believe that, you don’t know me.’ So there you have it: sore loser, racist supporters, no ethical standards, qualities Senator Obama simply can’t match.”
Tough break Hill. Comics are the only species more ruthless than politicians.
No wonder she runs better than BO against McCain, particularly in the big swing states ….
<
p>Are there any unifiers out there in that camp? Chris Dodd was out there taking his whacks this morning ….
<
p>Keep up the good work.
<
p>Thankfully, we have some good progressive races in Massachusetts to focus on, see the column on the left.
The best ones I’ve seen so far are Lance Mannion and Todd Beeton. Clinton supporters both, natch.
when HRC was exploiting the favorable SNL stuff to her advantage.
<
p>Hmmm…
<
p>I thought it reasonable to point out the flaw in her strategy.
The polls have been mixed about how Obama and Clinton fare against McCain. The way the economy is going I think that either of them could win handily.
<
p>Regarding unification, doesn’t that have to wait until after Clinton drops out? As long as her camp continues to go around pointing out Obama’s flaws (real or imaginary), it is a bit much to expect much in the way of conciliatory gestures from the Obama camp.
I am an Obama supporter, and while Clinton might have been asking for this a little in some of her recent comments, I felt that this skit just wacked me over the head with it. The political skits they did several months ago about the debates and the 3am phone call were much funnier.

I brought it up because she did get alot of mileage out of SNL during the lead up to PA.
<
p>Otherwise it isn’t relevant or helpful.
You gotta give credit to Poehler for gumption- a Boston native in Yankees country taking it to their senator.
