Not long ago, members of the press gave McCain his favorite treat: donuts with sprinkles. No joke. Now, the National Press Club has an even bigger treat for McCain. They’ve booked a man with a history of forgery and theft named Larry Sinclair to speak before them. Basically, this untrustworthy source, Larry Sinclair, has accused the Democratic nominee of Ted Haggard-type behavior. One would think a person with such poor credibility wouldn’t get much time from journalists, who operate with journalistic standards.
But the National Press Club is going to give Sinclair a place at its podium on Wednesday. If you’d like to politely express your opinion to the Press Club, their phone number is 202-662-7500.
