Did Toleos’s sign that said “John Kerry Anti-Gay Marriage,Anti-massachusetts” get taken away because Senator Kerry does not want people to know that he DOES NOT SUPPORT gay marriage? The party platform reads: “We affirm our commitment to the Massachusetts constitutional guarantee to same-sex marriage; and all of its rights, privileges and obligations; and reject any attempt to weaken or revoke those rights.”
Kerry has never supported marriage equality. Did Kerry delegates want to make sure that a sign pointing this out get whisked away at all costs?
From what I’m hearing Kerry went to great lengths to take over this convention. He apparently feels a sense of entitlement to his senate seat. Does the delegate who assisted in throwing Toleos out of the convention feel similarly that Kerry is entitled to his senate seat indefinitely?
