Patriots see their nation as a people and not a place
When asked to serve, a Patriot asks for whom and not for what
Patriots seek unity when others hide behind division
A Patriot sees one not many
Above all, Patriots love their country as they do their own family, friends and selves

Hi All:
<
p>My dad, Sergeant First Class W.J. Wilson always told me that this was the best country in the world. On this day of my 44th birthday, I tend to believe it but I also believe in the full quote, “My country right or wrong, when right to be kept right, when wrong to be put right.”
<
p>My dad died young at the age of 44 and he served this country well with two tours in Korea and three in Vietnam. He is buried with my mom at what used to be Fort Devens in Ayer. Unfortunately, now the federal prison hospital is right next to the graveyard and I have to see these convicts walking around a track whenever I go to pay my respects to them. I think the placement of that facility is an insult to my father’s service.
<
p>It really troubled me last night that fireworks being fired off in three directions near my house in Roslindale. They kept my dear twin 17 month old sons scared and awake well past 10 P.M. last night. They are illegal in the Commonwealth and the police were nowhere to be found after three calls to 911 last night.
<
p>I did see a drunk driving check point with about 10 policemen doing nothing earlier in the day in my neighborhood at about 2 in the afternoon. Talk about wasting my tax dollars.
<
p>Sincerely,
Wayne Wilson
