My name is Giovanna Negretti and I am the Executive Director of ¿Oíste?, the first and only statewide Latino Political Organization in Massachusetts. However, today I am writing to you as a registered Democrat.
Last March I was the only Latina elected as an Obama Delegate for the 8th Congressional District of Massachusetts. This coming Sunday, I will be at the National Democratic Convention and I want to ensure that everyone who had a part in ensuring my election has the opportunity to experience the Convention as if you were there. For this reason, I have accepted an invitation by The Boston Globe to be one of 7 bloggers at the Democratic National Convention.
