I’m delighted to introduce Blue Mass Group readers to Imagine Election, a new website for Massachusetts voters and candidates.  

The site provides customized ballots based on a user’s address, like Project Vote Smart.  Unlike Project Vote Smart:

  • Candidates are allowed to edit their own profiles

  • Users (like you!) can post reviews of candidates

  • The site includes races that are specific to MA like governor’s councillor

  • The site provides specific polling place information

    • I’m Summer, the site’s founder and a longtime Blue Mass Group reader.  I can’t wait to hear what you all think!

      Entered my address, a large condo building.

      The address you entered was not found in our database. Check the spelling, or try again using a neighbor’s address.

      Haven’t found a working Arlington address yet.

    5. I ran into a bug and let Summer know and it was quickly fixed. I look forward to trying the site. Seems it would need an awful lot of buy in to be real useful, but we certainly have plenty of buyers here!

    6. It brings up both Republican and Democratic candidates for the primary in one list. In the real primary, we have to choose either a Democratic or a Republican ballot, don’t we? They aren’t all on one ballot?
