7NEWS and Suffolk University released a poll this week on whether Mass. respondents would vote “yes” or “no” on each of the questions listed below.
Question #1, which would cut the state’s income tax in half in 2009 and eliminate it in 2010, was opposed 50% to 36%, with 15% undecided.
Question #2, which would replace current criminal marijuana penalties for possession of up to one ounce of marijuana with forfeiture of the marijuana along with a $100 fine and that money would go towards the city or town where the offense occured, was supported by 71% to 22%, and 7% undecided.
Question #3, which would prohibit any type of dog racing in Massachusetts, beginning in 2010, where any form of betting or wagering on the speed or ability of the dog occurs, was supported 50% to 37%, and 13% were undecided.

I tried looking it up on the mass.gov/legis page, but couldn’t find anything pertaining to ballot questions. The easiest thing to do would probably be to call the House or Senate and ask a policy staff member there.
