yeah, lots of Dem’s voted against it. Nobody really wants to vote FOR this damn thing. But and this is the point Barney is making you can have reasons for voting against this, but to vote against it because your feelings are hurt is kindergarten.

This guy was Chairman of the House Committee on Finances for over the past 5 years and he didn’t know that Fanny and Freddie were rotten to the core with bad paper?
This guy told us there were “No problems”?
This guy FAILED to let the American people know that they were about to be totally screwed by a social engineering experiment gone out of control?

p>This man has NO business criticizing anybody. He should be hiding under a rock someplace waiting to be censured and fired as Chair of the supposed “watchdog” of financial activities. He is a total disgrace to his office. the biggest mistake the Republicans made was not getting rid of this incompetent clown when they controlled the House.

Committee voted AGAINST the bill today. Then this blowhard bashes the 12 repubs needed to pass the Bill but makes NO MENTION of the 60 Democrats who also voted against this bad bill.
The fact of the matter is that the Dems have enough members to pass this piece of garbage anytime they want. However, just as they didn’t have the courage to block funding for and thereby end the Iraq war which they also could have done anytime they wanted, they chose to vote nay because they know their constituents would have their political heads if they did.
