even Ted Kennedy did one debate with the hapless Ken Chase in 2006.Absolutely the Democratic nominee should debate Beatty! It will be a welcome bit of comic relief from the ongoing presidential campaign slog.

So – let the call to action begin! David – will you join me in asking the Senator to debate? And hopefully longer than a half-hour, and later than ‘Good Morning, America’?
Kerry should debate Beatty. I know of nothing to indicate that he won’t.
