District City Councilor Mike Brady had his nomination confirmed by a recount for the Democratic spot on the ballot in the 9th Plymouth District in the Mass House of Representatives.
A 13-vote margin in the election over City Council President Bob Sullivan became a 14-vote margin following the recount.
Brady, who works for the Lottery, will now face Republican Brockton attorney Larry Novak (under indictment on Federal money laundering charges) in the general election to fill the seat of Rep. Tom Kennedy. Kennedy is unopposed for election to the Senate to fill the seat of Bob Creedon, himself unopposed for Plymouth County Clerk of Courts.
