Does anyone know Bristol Palin’s birthday?
She is 5 to 6 months pregnant. The age of consent in Alaska is 17 [ 4 if you are a bear or a moose ]. If Bristol Palin had sex with her boyfriend and got pregnant BEFORE she turned 17 Bristol Palin could not have given her consent. Therefore, it would be rape of a minor Bristol Palin.
Would think that the law and order conservative Republicrats would under normal circumstances be calling for the arrest and conviction of Bristol Palin’s attacker for rape of a minor not praising the rapist for conservative family values.
What a bunch of hypocrites !

through the Alaska statutes (see also the statutes following that one) suggests that, in most cases, the age of consent in Alaska is 16. So I don’t see an issue here, unless you’ve got some law saying otherwise.

They may also have a “Romeo and Juliet” law although I’m not sure. As there is 1 year difference between the father and mother.

I’m a lot more interested that it came out today that Sarah Palin and her husband couldn’t even run a business to the point where it ended up getting shut down by the state. Town politics, state politics, private business…poor woman’s got the leaden touch.
eaboclipper says
to that claim?
sabutai says
How silly of me to expect you to use Google on your own…
<
p>Here.
<
p>I’m sure you’ll claim that since Palin was only part owner, she’s not responsible for what happened to her own investments. After all, why should our vice president know anything about how multitasking, oversight, delegation, or wise decision making?
david says
If nothing else, all of this surely demonstrates how absolutely awful McCain’s vetting operation was.

links when I talk about a story. Now it was a learned response from raj beating me silly, but I’ve learned.
<
p>That reminds me, anybody know what happened to raj? Did he pass away?

They were 20% investors in a car wash. They weren’t the executives in charge, they provided money. So oh my god they lost money in an investment. NOBODY has done that before. Is that all you got?
sabutai says
I’d say we’re 20% investors of Iraq, which is pissing away our money while building a surplus…so you’re cool with this level of diligence?
centralmassdad says
Please.
sabutai says
It’s crystal clear that the current crew of Republicans can’t supervise money it spends, engage in oversight, exercise diligence, or make good decisions. Palin’s business history indicates the same.
mrigney says
They weren’t 20% investors – they each held a 20% stake. They didn’t lose money in an investment – the company was “involuntarily dissolved” by the state for failing to report properly and non-payment of licensing fees, even after multiple warnings.
<
p>Let’s see, the Palins threw a bunch of money to an acquaintance who didn’t feel like following the laws and then didn’t pay any attention to what happened to the cash. When it all went wrong, she tried cover it up. I can see why she’s so popular with the Republicans.
laurel says
Not when what is written doesn’t help you make your case, I guess.

p>Reformer? Sounds like common scoundrel to me. Say EaBo, are you behind the reelection of Senator Wilkerson, too, or do you think she’d also make a great VP?

This is somewhere very near the bottom.

No statutory rape claim exists under Alaskan law, as neither party was 3 years older than the other.

Seriously, a minority investment in a failed land deal.. This can’t end well; hide your interns!
