Joe telling a man in a wheelchair to stand up? I guess he doesn’t actually meet people whose name he tosses out.

    p>That was, at worst, an embarrassing moment that was handled well by both the Senator and the man. It has likely happened to any politician going to as many places and thanking a list of local politicians. The fault really was likely that a staffer should have included a note that he was disabled.

    p>There was absolutely no malice or scandal here and it shows nothing negative about his character, competence or knowledge.

    • Certainly no malice on Biden’s part. My only remark would be such “understanding” would not be found on this site if it were McCain or Palin making the same mistake. I don’t expect any honest remarks from people here concerning that aspect.

      • There are plenty of things that can be attacked – like parodying the Beach’s Boys song as “Bomb, bomb, bomb Iraq.
