Dear BMG Members,
Having secured the democratic nomination to the seat of Middlesex County Register of Probate at the September 24th caucus, I thought it only right that I express my gratitude to Blue Mass Group and its members for encouraging me to post and inquiring into my knowledge and outlook for the Court.
I thought that the caucus ran very smoothly from an organizational level and thank the members of the state committee for running a successful event.
Most especially, I want to thank the delegates, not only for their votes, but also for their commitment to insuring that the process was not lost among the politics. I realize, as I hope most of you do, that it took votes from all around the county to secure the nomination. From the great split of votes in the southern part of the county, I know I needed the support of delegates from the west and the north. I may not have had whole delegations to begin the night, but I know that those of you who took the time to listen committed to my candidacy for the right reasons.
I will continue to move forward with the progress of the Court and take a look at some of the things that were brought to my attention during the pendency of this nomination period when I officially take office. I will make sure that all of Middlesex County is represented in this Office and I take that commitment very seriously.
I will continue to be a part of BMG and hope to post periodic updates as to the Court and its programs.
Thank you all again. The exposure my candidacy received here was invaluable.

Unopposed in November!

“Unopposed in November” – I did check with Secretary Galvin’s office, and was informed that no Republican had made it onto the ballot, to confirm.

p>Thank YOU for taking the time not only to post, but to respond to all questions and “all comers” – delegate or not.
<
p>And you have taken on a very big, very worthwhile – and difficult job.
<
p>It is said, “Justice delayed is justice denied” – and that has too often been the case due to missing files, delayed transcripts, etc. at Middlesex Probate and Family Court – in the past at any event.

I’m not sure how seriously to take this, but here it is for your edification.
