As MassEquality’s Marc Solomon mentioned, this weekend we will be taking the Not-So-Straight Talk Express to Columbus, Ohio to help campaign for Obama. We’ve organized this trip to give the LGBT community and our allies another way to help make sure we elect Obama as the next President of the United States.
There are still some seats left on the bus, and I wanted to personally invite members of the BMG community to join us. Our hosts in Ohio have promised a great time working closely with the Obama campaign. Ohio is a critical swing state that has been trending towards Obama in recent polls. We want to help solidify that lead and deliver the state’s 20 electoral votes for Obama.
We’ve been asking participants to contribute to the cost of the trip, but we’ve also received some generous donations, so if cost is an issue but you still want to come, we’d be happy to have you along.
