State Rep. Mary Grant from Beverly attended and spoke. A number of State Committee members were there, Arthur Powell, Marilyn Hazel, and Jim Fleming. Andrew Eaton of the Senator John Kerry campaign, a person from Congressman John Tierney’s campaign, and Peabody Democratic City Committee Chairman Russ Eckel attended too. Along with about 50 volunteers.
Many lcoal grassroots coordinators participated. There will be carpool canvasses to NH, phone banks, and visibility.
A number of folks reported they had gone to ‘Camp Obama’ in Boston and Vermont. All are full of energy for the campaign. The volunteers are listing everything they do on the Obama Web site.
The campaign is getting into high gear!
