Team Obama continues to flex its financial muscles.
The Obama campaign has bought a half hour block of primetime television – from 8-8:30pm ET – on Wednesday, Oct. 29, on CBS, NBC, and MSNBC, according to television industry sources…. The Obama camp remains in talks with other networks to do the same on other channels.
Oct. 29 is six days before election day.
Meanwhile, McCain’s campaign co-chair has completely lost his mind. “A guy of the street”? WTF??

The rule is that if you used cocaine in your youth and you are a Republican it was a youthful indiscretion…even if you were in your 30s or 40s.

p>But if you used cocaine in your youth and you are a Democrat you are a drug dealer.

p>I’m done with MccAin/Bush/Palin/Keating and their circle of yesterday’s men. I’m done with the crazies who are fanning the conflagrations that lead to threats of violence on a daily basis from people going to McCain/Palin rallies. I hope the Secret Service has a large enough budget to contain what these dead-enders are whipping up. Seymour Hersh and David Gergen are two old hands who are discussing their fears of conservative violence this week.
<
p>But I also want to ask Chris Shays — are these really your people?
Olympia Snowe and John Sununu, do you stand with the McCain/Palin campaign this week?
Susan Collins — do you share their priorities?
Jodi Rell — Is that what it means to be a Republican in your eyes?
Jim Douglas — Do you agree with what McCain has — that Obama and Biden are “socialists” and “hooligans”?
<
p>Are you even willing to fight for the soul of your own party?

is losing it very quickly. Never have I seen such a despicable campaign.

…I think McCain is the only thing holding back Palin and the rest of the Republican Party from directing the contents of the gutter directly into our living rooms. He’s running a dishonorable campaign, but he’s the only reason it hasn’t yet sunk to despicable.

The drop in the Dow today queued the sound of hammers in the coffin workshop for the McCain campaign. Ergo, desperate crazed attacks. The problem is, it’s too obvious. If they had started last summer, ala Kerry’s swiftboating, it might have been more effective. But now, it just looks amateurish and transparent.
<
p>That said, this election is not in the bag. We have to redouble our efforts between now and election day to ensure a good result and avoid the nightmare of a third Bush term.

than he is a political commentator. At least he didn’t let Keating get away with his attempt at a bogus, pseudo-“gotcha” distraction.
Some of us haven’t forgotten that W had a far more reckless, drug-addled, and hedonistic youth than Mr. Obama.

I am not one of those numerology freaks, but I didn’t understand why Barack was doing this 6 days before election. Usually these half hour things are the Monday or Sunday before the election. Not a Wednesday.
<
p>Maybe it is just an odd coincidence, but October 29, 1929 is the day Wall Street crashed and started the Great Depression.
<
p>Is Barack planning something that connects back to the Great Depression and announces his policies for going forward to avoid Great Depression II ? Is this the beginning of the Obama Administration?
<
p>Or do I need to turn off the disaster movie that is CNN this morning and go rake the leaves?

He could have chosen the date because October 29, 1886 was the very first ticker-tape parade – office workers in New York City spontaneously threw ticker tape out their windows as the Statue of Liberty was being dedicated.
<
p>So, clearly Obama is throwing himself a little pre-election rally on national TV less than a week before the election, and that’s what this means.
<
p>Or maybe it was when he could actually get the airtime. Either way, I’m sure it means something. Or not.

Take your pick of the possibilities. I like the liberation of Breda by Polish troops in 1944, myself. However, I’m CERTAIN with the certainty of a republican “Obama is an Aye-Rab!” Palinite that Obama is memorializing the marriage of Valentinian III, Western Roman Emperor, to Licinia Eudoxia, daughter of his cousin Theodosius II, Eastern Roman Emperor in Constantinople in 437. This unified the two branches of the House of Theodosius, and is CLEARLY a metaphor for the new bipartisanship under Obama.
<
p>LOL!

His campaign sucks. I have absolutely no desire to volunteer for him. I have begun receiving e-mails from them to campaign for him. I tried the unsubscribe thing before, this is what I get. I urge everyone whose job is not from our state legislature to NOT vote for him! Your pink slips will come when Question 1 passes. Sorry I get upset when dealing with idiots. Please note I didn’t say to vote for McCain. Vote for who YOU want, not because someone harasses you to.
