CommonWealth magazine’s new blog, CommonWealth Unbound, has six leading thinkers weighing in on the economic crisis.
Check out the online forum dubbed The Fix We’re In to read perspectives on the state budget impact from former GOP A&F secretary Steve Crosby and Harvard economist Ed Glaeser. Offering more global views on the crisis are BC politicial scientist Alan Wolfe, who chalks it up to the “utter failure of conservatism;” UCal-Berkeley’s Jacob Hacker, author of “The Great Risk Shift;” BU economist David Weil, co-author of “Full Disclosure,” an important recent book on transparency and accountablity; and Tamara Draut of the New York-based Demos Institute, author of “Strapped: Why America’s 20- and 30-Somethings Can’t Get Ahead.”
(CommonWealth is the award-winning quarterly magazine published by MassINC, a nonpartisan public policy think tank in Boston.)
