Tinklenberg’s on the air

Taking quick advantage of the enormous windfall of cash that Michele Bachmann’s Hardball meltdown has brought him (she’s now denying that she said what she said, by the way, realizing that she may have dug her own political grave – you be the judge), El Tinklenberg has gone on the air in Minnesota.  A nice first ad, IMHO.  Help him out — remember, you can still double your donation through the BMG challenge!

  2. Bachmann has finally owned up to her statements, saying “a trap was laid”.  From the Minneapolis Star-Tribune:

    “Sometimes you make a decision about going on a show … I probably should have said no to Chris Matthews.”

    “I had never seen his show before,” she said. “I probably should have taken a look at what the show was like … A trap was laid, but I stepped into it.

    “I made a misstatement. I said a comment that I would take back.”

    Matthews on Friday asked Bachmann whether she believed that Obama may have anti-American views. Bachmann replied: “Absolutely, I’m very concerned that he may have anti-American views.”

    So if she had realized this was a show where the host would ask for her opinion, she would have known not to appear?  What a trap, let the fanatic tell us what she thinks.

    • A “trap.”  Because the host asked her directly if she thought Obama might have “anti-American” views, and she responded by saying “absolutely,” she was “very concerned” about that.

      p>They say that you can trap a turkey by setting a cardboard box on its side — the turkey walks in and is too stupid to figure out how to turn around and walk out.  I guess that’s a “trap” too.
