Palin’s view of the world reminds me of the classic New Yorker cover of Manhattan’s view of the world stops at the Hudson River. Palin view’s seems to reflect the view that the world begins and ends at Lake Lucille in Wasilla.
As to McCain being a Maverick. Remember, Maverick was a terrible junk car which used to be made by Ford. Both McCain and the Maverick belong in an antique museum.
