UPDATE: To address Bob’s comment in the promotion text, I should have been clearer: in talking about a “revolutionary idea” for “a way for people to express their concerns and ideas”, I was specifically referring to “myissue.devalpatrick.com”. The original DevalPatrick.com, like BarackObama.com, was a campaign site. The re-launch was supposed to be something different and new, particularly myissue.devalpatrick.com. I’ll just note that that URL doesn’t even work anymore; it just redirects you to the main page of devalpatrick.com.
Anyway, my thought is simply that the “share your ideas” portion of change.gov feels a lot like myissue.devalpatrick.com, and I just hope that more comes of it.

it seems to me that the correct analogue to change.gov is patrickmurraytransition.com (.org? .gov? I don’t remember), which was the site via which people could send comments to the various transition teams, and could also apply for jobs. That site worked pretty well. After the transition, we’ll see what becomes of change.gov.
