If you are unable to vote in person tomorrow, you can still vote absentee, but you must get yourself to your city or town hall today BEFORE NOON. Be prepared for a wait. Also, I don’t know whether the “in line when the polls close” rule applies to absentee voting. So do yourself a favor and get there with plenty of time to spare.

Harvard Square post office this morning, lots of students express-mailing their absentee ballots to their home states.

p>Very annoying to see at least one of them near me was from a swing state (New Mexico). I’m not optimistic that these votes will be counted. The municipal offices that process them will be absolutely overwhelmed tomorrow and for the next few days or weeks.

p>In a related problem, here’s a rundown of what to expect in the major cities (ie, Dem strongholds) of swing states: massive voter frustration, bordering on suppression.

p>And we have a strong defense: The DCCC is one of several orgs with an army of folks out there monitoring the polls.
Those should get counted if they arrive tomorrow, no matter where they’re being sent to.
