Here is the link: http://change.gov/
Rather a simple link for a major improvement in open transition work on the national level. I strongly suggest a visit to this site.
It does include a blog, and the ability to provide comments to the transition team. Time will tell, of course, but the information available at this site is far more extensive then I recall being available in the past during any presidential transition.
Please share widely!

from Deval Patrick’s campaign — the Patrick-Murray transition site had many of the same features.

So I shared the URL when I learned about it, you know? The actual URL being change.gov was not something a google or other search would turn up, probably, looking for Barack Obama’s transition site. It has not been up long, though I think it was good to go and ready to launch in advance, debugged as far as I can tell.

I actually got the heads up today [after missing the link at BMG] via facebook. Small world, sometimes.

That Obama wrangled a “.gov” domain for his transition website. Wonder which servers are hosting it — government, private, non-profit, campaign…?
