Globe reports:
Scores of angry Cambridge registered voters this morning discovered that their names were missing from lists of eligible voters as city election officials alerted the state to the problem — and provided a solution…. Brian McNiff, spokesman for Secretary of State William Galvin, said Cambridge election officials told the state the problem was the result of human error that is now in the process of being corrected. He said the lists of voters at polls when they opened this morning were flawed.
“The printed lists were defective,” McNiff said. “There is a new list, the accurate one. It’s been printed. It’s been distributed.”
McNiff said voters whose names were not on the defective lists were given provisional ballots. Once city election officials confirm they are registered voters, those provisional ballots will be counted and included in the vote totals for the city.
Any Cambridge voters out there experience this problem? Or other issues?

This affected a lot of people in the precinct covering most of MIT, voting in Kresge Auditorium. (Sorry, don’t know my precinct numbers by heart.)
