You have an important role to play in this election.
<
p>We all watched in the last two presidential elections as the course of our nation was determined by a few thousand votes in key battleground states.
<
p>After eight years of failed policies and divisive politics, we can take back the White House and set our nation on the right path.
<
p>Even if you are unable to make it to New Hanpshire or elsewhere you can make a difference from right at home, and help support Barack Obama and Joe Biden:
p>With your help, we can make history — and bring the change we need to our country.
<
p> YES WE CAN!
<
p> GO OBAMA-BIDEN!

If a trip downtown or to New Hampshire doesn’t work for you, or if you’re holding out for a location with free parking, bring your cell phones & chargers and join us in Burlington. We’ll have phonebanking at 212 Cambridge Street (route 3A)from 4-8 p.m. Monday night and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on election day.
If you have trouble, keep calling. On my first try I got a few rings and then a recorded message saying “this person’s voicemail box has not been set up”. On the second try I got an intelligent and well-informed human being (though the phone connection wasn’t very good), who took my name and phone number. He agreed with the anecdotal stuff I had heard that Keene is overwhelmed with volunteers and Peterborough needs more. (He was most interested in Laconia, Plymouth, or the Southeast but was happy with Peterborough.)
<
p>People to knock on doors are in more demand than phonebankers.
<
p>So it looks like I’ll be in or around Peterborough from around 11 until the polls close.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 212 Cambridge Street (route 3A)…
<
p>Bring cell phones & chargers and c’mon down. Parking is free, there’s a pizza place and a dunkin’ donuts in the same block, and we’ve still got Obama buttons. Swag, calls, coffee and carbohydrates – what more could a campaign volunteer need?
