As Democrats we espouse respect for the environment. By necessity this requires prudent use of earth’s resources. Are wasteful, wanton use of the earth’s resources in keeping with Democratic ideals? From what I read here and in other places: no.

It demands use of more goods and services than are required for a good and healthful life. Our Federal Reserve System, a failed system, demands borrowing rather than savings. Rather than basing our monetary system on credit, would it not be wiser to base it upon the formation of capital? Savings rather than credit? Sound growth in lieu of borrowed bankruptcy?
