Lets just end the games and admit you discriminate against the disabled population.
NOTE: I have edited the title of this post to clarify the issue to which it refers. -David

All of us, including the RMG refugees? Do you really know who “we” are?

Is there such a critter? Just for clarification, I mean all you BMG’ers. Please, I beg of you, attempt to prove me wrong!

EaBo Clipper, Peter Porcupine, Chimpschump, JoeTS, MCRD, etc? Just curious who you see as the typical BMGer.

They post, therefore they are.

This is the first I’m hearing about this issue and do have some concerns, but I’ve never seen anything about this on BMG, let alone a defense. In case you haven’t noticed this blog is defintely not the Governor’s mouthpiece. The casino issue would be prime evidence of that. You also have no idea how to start a civil discussion since this is at least the second diary you’ve written that insisted on starting with insults and nast tone. I think you’ll find if you scan the discussions that the BMG community is very sympathetic to the disabled population.

Ask him. We need clarification.

The diarist seemed to be stereotyping BMGers as all having the same opinion. Laurel was pointing out that we have some regular “differently winged” posters and commenters.

However , my statement goes unferuted. I’m sorry I’m not part of a “sexy” minority. Doesn’t picking on my defenseless brethren make you early respondents feel rel tough? Pick on me, I can take it. It’s nice to see your true BLUE colors coming out. Absolute power is corrupting you absolutely. Party of the people, my left foot!

Are you too lazy to actually write a paragraph or two?

The ADA is a real law. It is not a cosmetic feel-good proclaimation.
<
p>If the state was violating minimum wage, Davis Bacon, etc., BMG would be going bananas.
<
p>Billixi – I am covered by ADA myself. But I don’t blame BMG for not protesting about the issue when it just broke. See what reaction is taken, and THEN protest if it’s insufficient. Your poisonous post has eliminated any chance of seeing what a real reaction – or lack of one – might have looked like.
laurel says
The law is near and dear to my heart. Sadly, I’m none the wiser from billxi’s diary as to what is allegedly going on and the context in which it might be happening.

So when you wrote “peace everyone, and I mean it with all sincerity” last December you were being…sarcastic?
<
p>This is a serious issue, and if you ever want to have a serious conversation about it — rather than blaming people on this blog for the decisions of the Massachusetts Architectural Access Board — please feel free to begin. We’re the bleeding heart liberals who LOOOOOVE to WASTE YOUR HARD-EARNED TAXPAYER DOLLARS on favored MINORITIES as demanded by ACTIVIST JUDGES!!!! You’d find a friendly home here if you’d care to try.
