There was a wonderful “human interest” column in the Springfield Republican newspaper on Saint Patrick’s Day, about one of our hardest-working organizers in Western Mass, Pat Carney.
Pat was one of the Springfield Coordinators for Deval Patrick’s campaign, played the same role in the Obama campaign, and is now Chair of the Ward 6 Dem Committee.
Her work, however, has extended far beyond the borders of her city, and she has been a mentor and helper for countless people throughout the region.
