Where do the scum like Boston Cop Justin Barrett and his WEEI broadcasting colleagues Dennis & Callahan …[read the Metco Gorrilla] and WTKK Jay Severin [ ‘AXE’ The Governor ] come from?

Do you learn this prejudice at the family dining room table or is it genetic?

    • but he used the phrase “mackarel snapper” a while ago, which caused me to quickly respond with “faggot”.  Both comments got zero-d into oblivion.  

      • vs. my personal email system is gigantic. David… can delete my comments or close my account since they own and control this blog but firing a person because of a comment they made outside of work is simply unAmerican.

    p>It’s definitely learned which is good because as attitudes evolve prejudice will get handed off to the next generation.  The elementary school kids that I have taught see that we’ve elected a black man President and shrug.  It doesn’t even occur to them that it should be a big deal.  That to me is an example of how unprejudiced they are.

      p>Do you know that famed Boston Theatre critic Elliot Norton advised lyricist Oscar Hammerstein and  composer Richard Rogers that they should take out that song and those lyrics when they were previewing “South Pacific” in Boston in 1949 because they were in Boston.
