I bought the franchise from these folks:
We’ve got a great product line, everything from soaps and personal care items to cabinets, countertops and flooring. Presently, I’m putting my store together in Northborough, on Rt 20 at the corner with the Southwest Cut-off. Here’s a picture of the location:
I’m in Unit 8, just below the big “For Lease” sign in this shot:
I’m next door to a sushi restaurant – I think I know where my profits will be going…
I’m painting it with low VOC paint from AFM Safecoat, and next week we’ll be installing several different types of renewable flooring – Marmoleum, Bamboo, FSC Certified hardwood, reclaimed wood, cork flooring and more. I’ll have a green conference table made of Paperstone, and the desk in my office will also be a demo countertop. The bathroom will have a dual-flush high efficiency toilet, a renewable sink and countertop, and an instant-on water heater from one of our dealers.
I’ll be holding a grand opening celebration on either 8/1, 8/8, or 8/15, it all depends on how much work I get done next week. I’ll be posting about it here, and I’ll add it to the calendar when the date is certain. Thanks for reading – now tell me why you deserve to go to NN on my dime!

I can’t wait to see it. đŸ™‚

p>Sooooo tempted on the ticket….so very. Not sure I can cut it regarding the time off though… :-/
<
p>I’ll think about it! Also, Mr. Lynne might have something to say about it…LMAO

…from Mr. Lynne’s account again!
<
p>Did you get my email earlier this week? Give me a call if you have a minute, ok?
lynne says
All that complaining he used to do about me reading BMG on his laptop and losing his *[new] marks, before I got my own laptop and stopped using his, and what does he do? Out of laziness, he grabs my laptop and logs into BMG. Dork. đŸ™‚
<
p>I did, I tried to call Michael but left a message. It’s been a pretty busy week!

Sorry, Mrs. Mr. Lynne! Because of my autism, voice messages and other recordings present cognitive challenges. I hope I wasn’t too rude in my response, but now that I know it was you, I can call that number again with a (hopefully) more intelligent response.
<
p>btw, use my home (Skype) number, because my cell phone doesn’t work much here in the Beserkshires, so I only get cell phone messages (that I can’t understand) when I’m traveling! And my Skype number also travels with me, on my laptop…
<
p>Better yet, of course, email me, because that I can comprehend. I have nothing against talking on the phone; it’s just understanding recordings that is hard for me.
<
p>Hope your busy week is a sign of gainful employment, and not wasting your time on politics and other irrelevant stuff! I have vowed to have NOTHING to do with politics until after Labor Day! That is why I will only see the Governor 4 times this month, and will talk to no legislators that I don’t already have appointments with or will see in other meetings (Jim Vallee, Ben Downing, Jay Kaufman, Angelo Puppolo, oops… others!). Not that I’m going to other meetings, of course, unless you count the ONE Massachusetts Leadership meeting and… Oh, all right, I’m incorrigible!
<
p>But AUGUST I will take off! I swear!
<
p>The grandson arrives from Russia on August 8, and if that’s not a reason to focus on personal matters, I don’t know what is!
<
p>So, do let’s talk. I want to be ready for action AFTER Labor Day!

I wasn’t aware of your plans to get the store. Grats!
johnt001 says
I hope you can make the grand opening – talk soon!

I can’t go to NN, either, nor could I make a case that I deserve to go and represent BMG — too many deleted comments — LOL!
<
p>Your new store will be in my local area, so this is exciting news. It sounds to me like a great business move, as I don’t know of anything like it in the area. I can’t wait to see it and spread the word around to my neighbors, fellow Democrats, conservation land trust members, etc., etc. Best of luck with your preparations.

This does look like a dream come true!
<
p>I can’t wait to see it in person. I may even have to buy something so that you can spend your profits on me next door!
<
p>Seriously, though, I’m thinking of doing some major updating of my house next year, and I’ll want to talk with you about all of the green things I can do; solar panels, passive heating, etc.; my own dream is to have a wind turbine in my backyard, but I don’t know how realistic that is. In any case, I’m sure you can give me super advice!

p>Break a leg!
