If you live in the Merrimack Valley, this event is a great way to informally meet elected officials and others active in the Democratic Party. The outing last year was very successful, and this year promises to be even better.

On Sunday, August 23rd, the Billerica Elks Pavilion (14 Webb Brook Road, Billerica MA 01821) will be the scene of the 2nd Annual Family Outing and “Meet Your Elected Officials” event from 1 to 5 PM.
Sponsored by the Billerica Democratic Town Committee, elected officials and various unions, this will be a fun and social outing. Entertainment will feature “Four Guys in Tuxes” along with an outstanding barbecue by Mr. Jack’s. There will be many games for the kids.
Lt. Gov Tim Murray and Sheriff Jim DiPaola will attend along with State Senator Ken Donnelly and State Representative William Greene. Many other local elected officials are expected. All will make short presentations and will mingle
among the crowd. This will be a great opportunity to socialize and discuss various issues.
This annual event is for all to get together and meet and discuss issues of interest in a friendly atmosphere. Also, this year, a program will be available promoting those who are sponsoring this 2nd Annual Family Outing. These sponsors make this event free for all.
