but have enjoyed life and would like to continue doing so.
A) Can not afford to get arrested
B) Already know the outcome
C) Do not have the resources to protect the family

Boy Scout law abiding citizen like you once minding my own business until I had an argument with an Army recruiter over my daughter. They did reach out and touch me, just saying.
christopher says
I’d prefer to include a Merrimack Valley forum with Senator Kerry in my newsletter.

If I hear of any more Sen. Kerry forums, Christopher, I will let you know directly.

How early do you have to get there to actually get inside.

Hi All:
<
p> This one I’m going to skip. I will be attending Representative Lynch’s forum on Thursday. I will call Kerry’s office though and express my support of single payor, and because that seems unlikely, also my support of the public option contained within the current proposal.
<
p> I know Senator Kerry’s office will accept calls expressing opinions because that is how he decided to vote for going to war in Iraq.
<
p>Respectfully Submitted,
Sincerely,
Wayne Wilson

I can’t find announcement of the event on Kerry’s web site. Why is it posted just on Organize for America?
<
p>Makes me think it’s a rally, not one of my Senators holding a town hall with the neutral intention for me to be heard. Might as well hold it at SEIU headquarters.
christopher says
…I don’t want to hear your whining!

There were some of these announced on Cape per this Letter to the Editor

<
p>Sooo…since this may not be exactly what you might expect, forewarned is forearmed (of course, off-Cape where real people are, he might show up).
amberpaw says
So, hopefully, when a notice says Senator Kerry is doing a Town Hall, it really will mean what it says.
<
p>I would presume, though, that the staff also reports back, and that this, too has value.
peter-porcupine says
Oddly enough, my email invite must have gone awry. :~)
<
p>I have no knowledge of the person, office, etc. I had also heard there was one in Chatham, but didn’t know how it went. I just happened to read this letter in the Patriot, and then saw your post.
<
p>That said – I do find it hard to believe that 20-odd people went to the office just to talk to an aide (aren’t they there all the time anyway?). So please – follow up with what happens in Somerville.
amberpaw says
So I really cannot promise to attend that event in Somerville – someone else will have to commit to report on it.
<
p>I also, with my replacement hip, am very careful about situations with crowds these days so if I am unable to “get there early” I am not likely to go at all.
<
p>I find that the accommodation for those of us who consider ourselves a bit fragile leaves much to be desired most of the time, ergo, my activity on the internet may be greater than my activity in the rough and tumble of the world.
<
p>Also, I don’t appear to qualify for VIP seating!
