As I’ve mentioned a couple of times before, we (and other Soapblox sites) have been hit with an invasion of spam users who create accounts for the sole purpose of posting commercial links. They appear to work for this outfit, or someone like it. Part of our strategy to combat this has been to disable the automatic password system, which prevents them from logging in to post links.
We are now moving to the next step: the Soapblox powers that be have given us the ability to delete large numbers of user accounts at once. This will make it much easier for us to clear out the hundreds and hundreds of accounts that have been created for spamming purposes, and I will start doing that soon.
The danger in any such operation, of course, is that a couple of legitimate users may get swept up in the mass deletion. Therefore, particularly if you have recently joined BMG, please be aware that this is happening, and that there is a small chance that I will accidentally delete your account. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience I cause anyone. If this does happen to you, please sign up again and email me to explain what happened.
Thanks for your continued patience and understanding as we try to solve this problem.
NeilSagan is a podperson. Danger Will Robinson!
evidence?
That’s exactly what a pod person would write!
It is very clear you are not a pod person. I for one am glad that you have an account here and have started posting and I bet I’m not alone in that.

p>His comments are very funny so long as you’re confident — and you should be — that David won’t delete your account.
I think he’s one of us – a gourd person.
considered a plant, too?
