In a follow-up news story in Tuesday’s Patriot Ledger, that newspaper reported that Milton Deputy Chief Paul Nolan is attempting to supress and cover-up statements made by a Milton woman in a temporary restraining order that accused the Milton Deputy Police Chief of assaulting her in his car in Quincy. She asserts that the attack took place on Thursday, September 10 at which time she made several 911 calls.
In a strange and questionable coincidence of
timing the Milton Police “alerted reporters in an e-mail” that very day that Milton Deputy Chief Paul Nolan would be out of work for “about six weeks” because of hip surgery.
Let’s get this straight. A Milton woman in the automobile of the Milton Deputy Police Chief calls 911 on Thursday to report that she has been attacked by this policeman. Around the same time the Milton Police “press spokesmen” emails the press that the very cop in question was going out on sick leave?
How many e-mails are sent out from Milton Police “press spokesmen” announcing one of its cops is going out on sick leave?
Timing is everything and this smacks of a Thin-Blue Line Coverup of Milton Police’s second in command who is alleged to have “struck” a woman in the face.
