Her staff let us know what the campaign needs. Senate President introduced her with warm remarks. Several current and former State Reps showed up to support her. Martha gave a quick thank you and pep talk.
It was a great start to what is going to be a fun campaign.
We are looking for volunteers to collect nomination signatures.
Please share widely!

I’m also volunteering for Coakley and attended the large and energetic meeting with Lynpb last night. This group has momentum! I’ve been impressed with Coakley on the occasions I’ve had in the past to meet her or hear her speak – she’s been well-prepared and has always struck me as someone who is in politics for public service. Think she will make an excellent Senator.

p>Jamie Eldridge left with an armful of signature papers and bumper stickers. Pam Resor was unable to attend, but I dropped off signature papers to her and Jen Benson earlier in the day.

p>Our area will be pretty well covered!

Bean and I are going to Barney Frank’s town hall meeting because we think it will be entertaining and because we think it will be a good place to gather signatures. Grab your clipboard and join us. We have nomination papers.

I’ll take a stab and say, 275-325. There where maybe 6-7 rows of seats, 20-25/row – Filled. Maybe 150 standing.
