Dear team BMG,
As many of you know, for the past five months I’ve been working as Campaign Manager for Alex Selvig, a progressive, reform-minded Democrat seeking to represent his neighborhood of Allston-Brighton on the Boston City Council.
In order to clearly show how a councilor Selvig would serve differently than incumbent councilor Mark Ciommo, we’ve compiled a web video put together from clips of both Alex’s and Mark’s TV appearances during the campaign so far.
For your viewing pleasure:
If you’re interested in helping us get out the vote in the critical final few days before the preliminary election on Tuesday, we’d love to have your help! Please email me at Dave@AlexSelvig.com with the subject line ‘volunteer’. Thanks!

Ciommo is part of the problem in City Hall. Alex would make a great councilor. He would represent the people of A-B, not the Mayor like Ciommo does.

I can appreciate a job well done for your candidate but let’s not pretend you are presenting Mark Ciommo equally. It’s not a comparison piece it a campaign ad.
<
p>Mark Ciommo represents the neighborhoods of Allston and Brighton very well. His long-term involvement and activity in A/B and his service with the area’s Seniors is well documented and respected.
<
p>Mark stands up for Boston’s workers and fights for A/B neighborhood concerns. He has never been and is not now anyon’e “guy” except the residents of A/B.
<
p>Disclaimer – my union has endorsed Mark Ciommo and will be working hard for him on Tuesday.
