Will Stephen Lynch (D) Brylcreem put all the Right Wing hate groups in one pot and stir for controversy and fund raising. Still hear strong Anti- Busing bigots on talk radio who are rabid “Brylcreem” supporters. Can they raise enough money to foster his 17th Century political philosophy?

but the 17th Century was a golden age in political philosophy. John Locke, Rene Descartes, Hobbes, Bacon etc etc etc…
<
p>I feel like you tried to dish that out as if it’s an insult, but I would consider it a compliment if someone accused me of pushing 17th century political philosophy.
atticus says
is not in the league with any of those political philosophers. Whatever the backwater hackdom of that day would have been you would have found The Congressman from Brylcreem there.
joets says
how one is “from” Brylcreem.
atticus says
seen a picture of the congressman with his slicked down ‘Boys Number 3″ haircut? The Brylcreem oil slick is enough for someone to call the EPA
kirth says
He does seem to like some hair oil.

p>What’s that got to do with anything, though?
atticus says
Is too Slick by Twice.

Best political philosopher ever. The 18th century wasn’t so bad either (Adam Smith, Edmund Burke, Rousseau, Paine, Jefferson). If Lynch was pushing late 19th early 20th century thinking then I’d be scared (Marx, Engels, Neitzche, John Dewey, Ayn Rand).
