A few non-controversial points.
Coming back home after an expat assignment in the 90s was something like living the script of Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Removal from this home culture, learning another and then re-entering this one was eye opening. Why were people mean, mad, impersonal and uncaring. Why and how did media become so juvenile and or downright socially destructive. Now why since the 90s has that trend been expanded upon exponentially.
I am just your average nobody who wants to mind my own business and do my own thing yet it would be nice if I could improve the condition of mankind along the way too. You have to admit that is pretty noble compared to those who will and do spend their entire lives concerned only with themselves.
The news biases are well know and accepted. Faux News and MSNBC and something called The Boston Democrat. Behind that though and the mainly two corporations that control all media in the US is the most mainstream site of the “CT” category

Also behind the celebrity adoration that is number one in this country Americans are chronically ignorant of global affairs, organizations,treaties and America’s real standing in relation to the world. A recipe for disaster. True I might be mean in making this type of generality statement but then again let me point out debate possibilities on eurotrib say vs here and then let’s say hannity.com. It will be readily apparent. What percentage do though actually vote. Do those we vote for actually listen to us.
So here I am and that is my testimony. Man without a country since the 90s.

is how it sits in my mind. A perceived difference of opinion triggers hate. Energy wasted on that blocks the advancement of the human condition.
